Denmark Location Scouting
Yesterday, I headed out with my husband Leon, who is home on R&R and my trusty sidekick and model Murray to scout for locations to shoot in and around Denmark. We started at the Doggy Park, and we were lucky enough to run into a lady named Robin, who is second Mum to the lovely Percy. Percy and Murray got along from the start and had a great time with each other.
After chatting to Robin and getting some great local tips, we both headed off and I snapped one more image of Percy before Robin went home.
After this, we headed off to local recreation parks and checked out boardwalks, murals, pretty flowers and local structures to use as gorgeous backgrounds for Murray.
We then headed over to Ocean Beach. This is a great dog beach. So many friendly locals regularly visit this great location to exercise and socialise their dogs. While we were there, we met Lucy the Lab puppy and two gorgeous Border Collies. Naturally, I snapped a few candid images of these while there.
From there, we headed over to Lights Beach. Wow, what a stunning location! While there we got a few more images to frame up the stunning natural backdrops.
Of course by that stage, Murray and Leon had pretty much had enough and just wanted to do their own thing.
Denmark is truly a magnificent place to photograph and I look forward to more shoots with Dogs, Horses and their people from Denmark in the future. Denmark certainly is a very special place. If you are a Denmark local and know of more spots I really should not have missed - give me a holler!
