Oscar & Family at the Beach

Oscar isn't just any dog; he's the heart and soul of the family. Living with his two human brothers, Hudson and Heath, and his amazing parents, Melissa and Khyl, Oscar's life is full of love, laughter, and adventures.

Born into the family, Oscar has been Melissa's faithful companion since day one. At five years old, he's already a seasoned pro at spreading joy wherever he goes.  

Recently, Oscar got the chance to shine as our Breed of the Month – Kelpie or Kelpie x. While he's mostly Malamute, you'll find a dash of Kelpie and Husky in his DNA. But regardless of his breeds, we just know him as the Goodest Boy.

We had the pleasure of capturing some precious moments with Oscar and Melissa during a beach photo shoot.  We captured some beautiful connected portraits and candid shots of Oscar frolicking in the sand and surf, the afternoon was sunny and bright and loads of fun.

Oscar had the best time at the beach with just his Mum for some rare one on one time. When Khyl and the boys joined in, it was interesting to see how Oscar likes the family to all stay together at all times.  It was so much fun watching the boys play and chase each other across the beach.

This photoshoot wasn't just any ordinary day; it was Valentine's Day. Khyl surprised Melissa with a rose on the beach, and as if that wasn't surprise enough, she found a bouquet of flowers waiting in her car at the end of the shoot. Who says romance is dead?

Styled beautifully, the whole family looked amazing despite the coastal winds. And despite the occasional gusts, everyone was laughing, resulting in timeless images that will be cherished for years to come.
