1. Getting Acquainted:

Upon receiving your enquiry, I aim to connect with you, the pet parent, at the earliest convenience. This initial conversation is crucial as it allows us to understand:

Where you envision the shoot taking place.
The abilities and personalities of both your pets and family members.
Who you want to be photographed with.
Shared activities you enjoy with your pets, be it beach strolls or forest adventures.
If you are getting the session done for a special occasion.

2. Setting the Stage:

Once a suitable date is agreed upon, you'll receive a warm welcome email, complete with a product and pricing guide. Once you can ensure everyone's availability, you confirm the date.

3. Nailing Down Details:

To streamline the process, we delve into just the essentials. You'll fill out a questionnaire about the people and pets involved, and a contract will be signed.

4. The Pre-Shoot Consultation:

A day or two before the shoot, we arrange a meeting. This serves as an opportunity for me to familiarize myself with the pets and people involved. It's an occasion for everyone to feel at ease, setting the stage for a relaxed and enjoyable photo session, well before I have a camera in hand.

5. What to Expect on the Day:

You'll receive guidance on attire, what to bring, and a run-through of what to anticipate during the session. Most importantly, we will discuss how chilled and fun the session is. We'll discuss which products might suit you and your home and consider any gift prints for loved ones.

6. Photo Day Delight:

On the day of the shoot, your only task is to arrive with your beloved pets. I take the reins from there, guiding and directing throughout. Every step of the way, I ensure a fun, stress-free experience, especially for our furry friends. Frequent breaks and moments of play ensure a comfortable atmosphere for all.

7. Managing All Training Levels:

Whether your pet is a seasoned pro or a bit wild, I've got it covered. While a well-trained pet may offer more variety, it's not a prerequisite. Rest assured, post-production magic can remove leashes and owners discreetly. 95% of the dogs I photograph are actually on lead!

8. Post-Shoot Selection:

Following the session, we'll schedule a purchase appointment. Most images will have light edits applied, some will be more edited to provide a glimpse of the polished finished product. I'll be by your side to help you select your favourites and to put together any collages using our software so you can see what your finished images will look like.

9. Bringing Art to Life:

When your artwork arrives, I'll personally deliver it or, if you're from out of town, but a regular visitor to Albany, you can collect it from our studio. Our goal is your complete satisfaction, ensuring the artwork aligns perfectly with your vision.
